Johnston Real
Estate
was established by James W. (Jim) Johnston in Wauneta, Nebraska in 1963. Jim's
son, James P. (Page) Johnston joined the business in 1974, following his
graduation from McCook Community College. He continued its operation following
Jim's retirement in 1992.
Page is
a Nebraska licensed real estate broker and Nebraska certified
general real property appraiser. His 30+ years of real estate
experience in southwest Nebraska
includes the sale and appraisal of many types of agricultural, residential, and
commercial properties, in addition to various consulting and research
assignments. Page has also appraised a number of agricultural properties in
northeast Colorado and northwest Kansas, served on the State of Nebraska Area 6
Agricultural and Horticultural Land Valuation Board, and is a contract appraisal
reviewer for the Nebraska Real Property Appraiser Board. His civic activities
include six years on the Chase County Hospital Board of Trustees.
We make
every effort to recognize and utilize new technology to respond to changing
markets. That technology includes high speed Internet access to communicate with
clients and customers, and up-to-date software and peripherals for such tasks as
data analysis, and the production of promotional material and appraisal reports.
Still
based in Wauneta, a friendly little town in the Frenchman Creek valley, Johnston
Real Estate offers agency (including seller agency, buyer agency, and dual
agency); certified appraisals of agricultural, residential, and commercial
properties; and consulting services for a variety of uses. |
